Apple unveils AirTag trackers for lost items

by alex

For the first time in many years, the American company Apple introduced a truly new product for itself – AirTag trackers for lost things. Each such tracker is a small washer with a diameter of 31.9 millimeters and a thickness of 8 millimeters. The AirTag weighs 11 grams.

The tracker is protected from dust and water at the level of IP67 according to the IEC 60529 standard, so it can be immersed in water to a depth of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. The built-in battery lasts for a whole year of use. It all works in the following way – the AirTag tracker broadcasts a protected signal via Bluetooth that can be received by the nearest Apple gadgets with the Locator Network enabled.

They will send the geolocation of your AirTag to iCloud, and then you can see your tracker on a map in the Find My app. Data is always transmitted anonymously and encrypted to maintain your privacy. In addition, a built-in speaker is provided, which makes searching easier by ear. The price of the new item is 2990 rubles per piece or 9990 rubles for a set of four AirTags. And yesterday LG unveiled five new OLED TVs.
