Following the first for many years a really new product for itself – trackers for lost things AirTag – the American company Apple presented the next generation of a long-familiar device – the Apple TV set-top box.
With the addition of 4K in the title, it will be available for pre-order starting April 30. Apple TV 4K will begin direct sales in the second half of May. Perhaps the main feature of the novelty is the new Apple TV Remote with a touch-sensitive clickpad: tap to view a list of movies and TV shows in the Apple TV app, swipe to scroll through a long playlist in Apple Music and slide your finger on the outer ring to rewind forward or backward and find the desired scene in the movie.
The set-top box is built on the basis of the proprietary single-chip Apple A12 Bionic system. Supports Dolby Vision and High Frame Rate HDR. The 32-gig version is priced at 16,990 rubles, the 64-gig version – at 18,990 rubles.
