TASS, June 22. The American company Apple stopped production of the iPhone 12 Mini smartphone model due to low sales. This was announced on Monday by the marketing company TrendForce.
According to her, Apple stopped producing this model in the second quarter of 2021, as sales figures were significantly lower than sales of other models of the same series – iPhone12, iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
According to TrendForce, the company will probably introduce three models within the new iPhone 12s series, but will refuse to release a mini-version of the smartphone.
Apple unveiled an updated model of its smartphone – iPhone 12 – in October 2020. At the same time, its smaller version of the iPhone 12 Mini, the flagship model of the iPhone 12 Pro and its larger version of the iPhone 12 Pro Max were presented.
