Apple will hold another presentation tonight, presenting new devices and accessories. The site kp.ru on Tuesday, April 20, is conducting a live online broadcast of the Apple presentation, which will begin after 20:00 Moscow time.
The company never says in advance what devices it will show at the presentation: it can only be guessed about, based on information from insiders or hints in the event logo.
Insiders this time are sure that Apple will introduce updated tablets – 11-inch and 12.9-inch versions of the iPad Pro. This opinion, in particular, was expressed by the well-known IT-journalist Mark Gurman. The older 12.9-inch iPad Pro model will come with a Mini-LED screen, and each pixel of the tablet will be equipped with three LEDs, which will increase the contrast and brightness of the image. Both tablet models will receive an improved A14X chip, a new camera block, and upgraded connectors.
The second expected novelty is the updated iPad Mini, which, according to some versions, will come with a larger display and narrower edges.
Sources claim that the company will showcase the new Apple Pencil with a glossy finish, larger nib and new features.
AirTags are expected at every Apple presentation since 2019, and insiders expect to see them this year as well. These trackers are used, for example, to control baggage: the tag is attached to things, synchronized with a phone or computer and can track the movement of baggage. Most likely, Apple will also officially release the new operating system iOS 14.5, which will enable Apple's Tracking Transparency, writes The Verge.
Insiders argue over whether new iMac computers, third-generation AirPods, and an Apple TV set-top box will be shown at the April 20 presentation.
