Apple today announced iOS 15 at WWDC 2021 Developer Conference. It will bring many useful features to the iPhone.
The first thing Apple did was talk about the changes in FaceTime video calling. For example, they have added noise suppression to make calls more comfortable. There is also a portrait mode in which the focus is on the face – the background is blurred. There is also a SharePlay function that allows you to share various content with friends.
IOS 15 also introduces notification summaries. They collect all received notifications in a convenient form so that the user does not miss important things. In addition, there are modes for notifications. You can turn on Do Not Disturb mode so that notifications will not distract you from your work. There is also a “Focus” mode, which allows you to select the desired sources of notifications. For example, at work, only notifications from work applications will come.
In terms of photos, the Photos app now has a text recognition feature. And in Messages you can now send multiple pictures as an album.
iOS 15 will be available to all users in the fall.
