Sales for the 2020 iPhone line have been good overall. Only one model has not distinguished itself with success – the iPhone 12 mini. As it turned out, people don't really need compact smartphones.
At the beginning of the year, there were rumors that Apple would discontinue production of the iPhone 12 mini with a 5.4-inch screen ahead of time. Now, TrendForce analysts have reported that the smartphone has ceased production in the second quarter of 2021. The reason for this is poor sales.
Going forward, Apple intends to work on increasing sales of three major models of the upcoming 2021 iPhone series.
As for the iPhone 12 mini, it will apparently be on sale until it runs out of stock.
