Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak said on Twitter about the decision to create his own space company. It was named Privateer Space.
“Privateer Space is launching,” Wozniak wrote and attached a link to the video on YouTube.
The description of the video says that Privateer Space is working to ensure that space is safe and accessible for all of humanity. It was founded by Apple co-founder and Ripcord founder Alex Fielding.
Wozniak promised that the company will not be like the others. The founders intend to present their plans for the future at the AMOS Tech 2021 conference in September 2021.
Earlier, the SpaceX company of millionaire Elon Musk announced the emergence of a new generation of Starlink satellites. Corresponding documents have been filed with the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). In the description of the new generation of Starlink, the satellites will have a higher density in orbit, which will allow them to cover more terrain and provide reliable access to the Internet.
