Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak to create space company
Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak announced the creation of Privateer Space. He wrote about this on his Twitter page.
“Privateer Space is launching,” the message says.
Privateer Space was founded jointly by Wozniak and the American engineer and CEO of the robotics company Ripcord, Alex Fielding. According to Wozniak, his company will not be like others.
Privateer Space promised to talk about their future plans at a technology conference. It will take place from 14 to 17 September.
Recall that in mid-July, Virgin Galactic successfully launched the Unity spacecraft with a crew of four, including the owner of the company, British billionaire Richard Branson. A few days later, the suborbital ship New Shepard went into space with billionaire Jeff Bezos on board. He went into orbit with 82-year-old Wally Funk. The woman was the youngest graduate of the “Woman in Space” program in 1961, but then she never flew into space.
