About a month ago, Apple released a fresh update for its smartphones – iOS 14.7.1. The update fixed a serious security issue that could “lead to the execution of arbitrary code with kernel privileges.”
But, as it turned out, along with fixing one problem, the new version of iOS brought a new one. For example, iPhone owners who have updated their phones are massively complaining about the breakdown of their mobile communications.
For example, a message from a user under the nickname Redbean012 appeared on the official Apple forum. He wrote that he recently installed an update on his smartphone, after which he completely lost access to mobile communications.
At the same time, according to PhoneArena, he tried all the basic steps to fix the problem: resetting the phone to factory settings (several times), resetting network settings and installing a new SIM card.
Apple has already announced that they are aware of the problem and will try to fix it with the upcoming iOS 14.8 update.
