There are many rumors that the third generation of AirPods will be unveiled in the spring of 2021. Unfortunately, this never happened. But, if you believe the latest data, the device may be presented very soon.
Apparently, the production of the long-awaited device has already begun. Now the IT giant is in the process of obtaining components for AirPods 3, which are currently shipping at once from seven Apple suppliers, writes MacRumors. We are talking about Semco, LG Innotek, Kinsus, Unimicron, Nan Ya, Zhen Ding and AT&S – they supply Cupertinians with wireless parts.
Note that a little earlier Bloomberg already wrote that the announcement and release of the new AirPods are scheduled for the current year. They will be similar in design to the AirPods Pro, but will lose the active noise canceling function. It is expected that the third generation of headphones will be cheaper than the Pro version, but more expensive than the first and second generations.
