Elon Musk has demonstrated readiness to correct the ISS orbit instead of Roscosmos.
American billionaire and engineer Elon Musk reacted to the statement of the Director General of “Roscosmos” Dmitry Rogozin that Russia may abandon operations to adjust the orbit of the International Space Station due to sanctions imposed on it.
Rogozin complained about the imposition of US sanctions against Russia in his Twitter account.
“Maybe President Biden is out of touch, so explain to him that the correction of the station’s orbit, its avoidance of dangerous encounters with space debris, with which your talented businessmen have polluted the near-Earth orbit, is carried out exclusively by the engines of the Russian Progress MS cargo ships. If you block cooperation with us, who will save the ISS from an uncontrolled deorbit and fall into the United States or Europe,” Rogozin wrote.
In response to the message of the head of Roscosmos, Elon Musk published one word: “SpaceX”.
