Doctors took notice of the TikTok Milk Crate Challenge, warning users of its health risks.
This was reported by News18.com. The concept of the popular challenge is that users need to film them as they climb stacked milk boxes stacked on top of each other in the form of a ladder. Since the structure, to put it mildly, is not the most durable, balancing skills are required from the authors of the videos.
Doctors, who noticed the growing trend, warned social network users that participating in such a challenge is a traumatic activity. Orthopedic surgeon Shawn Anthony said that he has already been contacted by victims of this challenge with shoulder dislocations, anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus tears, wrist fractures and spinal cord injuries.
Under the influence of doctors, the TikTok administration decided to ban the Milk Crate Challenge.
