Attack in the Israeli city of Elad/Channel 24 Collage
On the evening of May 5, two armed men attacked passers-by in the Israeli city of Elad. At least three people were killed and several others were injured.
The incident occurred at the end of the Israelis' celebration of the country's Independence Day. Terrorists attacked people in one of the central parks of the city.

Eyewitnesses said that two men attacked passersby about 20 :40 local time. One of the attackers used firearms, the other attacked people with an axe, according to one eyewitness, with a machete.
National Ambulance Service Magen David Adom (MAD) reported at least three dead and seven injured in the attack. One of the victims is in serious condition.
Immediately after the incident, local police began searching for the two suspects. Several roads were blocked in the city and a helicopter was attracted, residents of Elada were urged not to leave their homes. Law enforcers suspect that the attack was carried out by militants and tend to regard the attack as a terrorist attack .

At the same time, the director general of MAD confirmed on the air of the state TV channel Kan 11 that the victims received, in particular, fire wounds. Workers at the Beilison hospital, where the victims of the attack were taken, confirmed the condition of one of the wounded as critical. One of the victims made it to the Sheba hospital in Tel Hashomeri on their own.
Arriving at the scene of the incident, we found that the attack had taken place at several points. The body of a 40-year-old man was found near Ibn Gvirol Square. Subsequently, 2 more dead were found. Three of the wounded were given first aid,” paramedic Alon Rizkan said.
By the way, this is not the first similar incident in Israel in recent weeks.
