Oil service provider Baker Hughes stops investing in Russia.

The company made such a decision due to energy sanctions against the Russian Federation.
“The crisis in Ukraine is of great concern and we strongly support a diplomatic solution. We condemn the violence and our hearts go out to the people and families of those affected. We are constantly monitoring the situation, today's announcement comes after an internal decision made with our board of directors and communicated to our leadership team earlier this week,” the message reads.
As a reminder, Halliburton previously stated that immediately will tentatively suspend future operations and wind down its activities in Russia.
Schlumberger has also stopped new investments and technology deployments, but will continue to operate in accordance with international law and sanctions.
