Another loss record: Kovalenko said whether the Russian military-industrial complex will be able to compensate for the equipment shortage

Loss rates will grow rapidly.

As of March 19, a new absolute record was set in the category of destroyed Russian vehicles in the zone military operations. 985 units eliminated.

Military-political observer Alexander Kovalenko wrote about this.

As you know, a record of 939 units was recorded in February. In general, starting from December 2023, the Russian Army is losing from month to month the maximum number of vehicles for the entire period of a full-scale invasion.

“I note that these loss figures are associated with the losses of armored fighting vehicles that were previously off scale. Due to the shortage and shortage of specialized, armored equipment for carrying out assault activities, Russian troops are forced to use non-military type equipment, as adapted for combat, and it is much easier to be rendered incapacitated by minor injuries,” the observer explained.

This is one of the reasons for such indicators, Kovalenko emphasized, which will continue to grow. The fact is that the Russian military-industrial complex is not able to solve the problem with the shortage of armored fighting vehicles through its own production/restoration.

Previously, the Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Charles Brown, said that Russia was suffering huge losses in manpower and equipment with even minimal advances on the territory of Ukraine.
