Over the past two days, about 1,600 Russian soldiers have arrived in Vitebsk.
On the night of January 7, another echelon with the Russian military was transferred to Belarus, consisting of about 700-800 people.
This was reported by the monitoring group “Belarusian Guyun”.
They specified that on the night of January 7 at 02:10 am Minsk time, a special train with 15 passenger cars passed through the Smolensk station in the direction of Belarus. In Belarus, he arrived at the Vitebsk railway station. In the cars were the personnel of the Russian army – about 700-800 people.
It is noted that this echelon traveled along the same route as the previous one, which arrived in Vitebsk on the night of January 6 and brought about 700-800 Russian soldiers.
Over the past two days, Russia could transfer at least 1400-1600 of its military to the Belarusian Vitebsk.
“An additional confirmation is that on the evening of January 6, soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces were seen in different parts of the city, walking in groups of several people and visiting shops,” the report says.
It should be reminded that on the eve it became known that on January 6, three echelons with military equipment and manpower arrived from Russia to Belarus. So, Urals, Kamaz trucks, armored personnel carriers and fuel trucks were recorded.
A day earlier, a train with 34 armored vehicles arrived in Belarus from the Russian Federation, which is enough to complete the battalion.
The Ministry of Defense of Belarus openly states that personnel, weapons, military and special equipment of the Russian armed forces continue to arrive in the country as part of the deployment of a joint regional group of troops.
