Residents of the city, where tremors were again felt, are urged not to enter the buildings damaged by the previous earthquake because of the threat of their collapse.
On Friday, February 24, an earthquake of magnitude 4.7 occurred in the area of the city of Gurün in the Turkish province of Sivas, which was previously declared a natural disaster zone.

The tremors were recorded at 20.19 local time (at 19.19 Kyiv time). The earthquake hit at a depth of about 5.3 kilometers.
Local authorities report that there was no major damage or casualties as a result of the shocks.
“We were told that only one shed in one of of our villages was damaged,” said the deputy governor of Sivas, Shakir Oner Ozturk.
There are no casualties or destruction in the city of Gyuryun, according to authorities. Although residents of the city are urged not to enter buildings damaged by the previous earthquake due to the threat of their collapse.
In Gyuryun, recognized as a natural disaster zone, 217 buildings were destroyed or badly damaged, and another 933 buildings received minor damage after the last earthquakes.
