On Friday, February 10, near the border of Kazakhstan Russia was hit by an earthquake of magnitude 4.4. During this week, tremors in Kazakhstan occur for the second time.
This was reported by the seismological experimental methodological expedition of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan.
According to experts, at 18:35 local time ( 14:35 Kyiv time) tremors were recorded 208 km southeast of the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk. The source of the earthquake was at a depth of 10 km.
The earthquake belongs to the weakest class, there were no reports of any damage.
Recall, on February 6, when a devastating earthquake shook Turkey and Syria, tremors were also felt in Kazakhstan. Then the magnitude of fluctuations was greater – 5.4.
