According to media reports, the man became ill during a work meeting. He suddenly stood up, lost consciousness and fell – doctors were unable to save his life. The incident occurred in the Ministry of Transport building on Staraya Basmannaya Street.
This is already the second high-profile case of the day related to representatives of the Russian transport sector. Earlier today, it became known about the death of the former head of the Ministry of Transport and ex-governor of the Kursk region Roman Starovoit. According to preliminary data, it was a suicide. Starovoit was a defendant in a case of embezzlement of funds for the construction of defensive fortifications in the border region.
