Former chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel intends to write and publish a book in which she explains her most important political decisions.
The former head of the Chancellor's office, Beate Baumann, told Spiegel.
According to her, in Merkel's book will not tell the story of his life. “She would like to explain her major political decisions in her own words and with reference to her life,” said Baumann, who has worked with Merkel for almost 30 years as her office manager.
Engage professional writers or journalists are not planning. “If we make this book, we will make it ourselves, without ghost writers, without historians, without journalists,” Beate Baumann said.
Work on political memoirs will last approximately 2-3 years. Merkel has not yet decided who will publish this book.
