Since its inception, DualSense has Android support. But thanks to the release of a new driver for the Linux kernel, the mobile operating system will get more functions when connected to a PlayStation 5 controller.
So, for example, it is already known that there will be support for LEDs, motion sensors, touchpad and vibration. Particularly interesting is that the new driver will add Android the ability to separately control left and right voice coil drives.
It is worth noting that Sony is unlikely to provide an opportunity to implement advanced vibration outside of the PlayStation 5 – whatever one may say, this is one of the key features of the new console. It is also worth understanding that developers themselves will have to add support for new features to their Android games.
