The next Apple presentation will take place on October 18. On it are waiting for the new MacBook Pro and Mac mini. According to Wedbush analyst Dan Ives, who is not the first time making such predictions, the third generation of AirPods wireless headphones will also be presented at the event.
Ives claims that the new AirPods 3 will get the same design as the AirPods Pro. This means that they must have a shortened “leg”. Despite the similarities with the older model, the AirPods 3 will not have support for active noise canceling technology. Apple will keep this feature for the Pro headphones.
It is also reported that the new AirPods will provide improved sound quality and possibly get a smaller charging case. Wedbush has verified its supply chain and says the wireless earbuds are already manufactured and ready to ship.
How much AirPods 3 will cost is not yet clear. The company can either make the model cheaper or make it more expensive compared to AirPods 2.
