Russian scientists have already created several vaccines against coronavirus, all of them are effective and safe to use. The well-known infectious disease doctor, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Nikolai Malyshev spoke in an exclusive interview for kp.ru about the state of affairs with the development of a drug from covid-19 for young people.
According to him, if we talk about the Sputnik V vaccine, then at the moment clinical trials are already underway for minors, in which children are divided into three age groups.
– As for “Sputnik”, now children are divided into three age groups for clinical trials. They started with the oldest and will continue to descend to younger ages, – said Malyshev.
The doctor also expressed the hope that in the near future “we will hear that activoid vaccination is allowed for adolescents.”
Earlier it was reported that Russian scientists have developed and registered three vaccines against coronavirus – “Sputnik V” from the Gamaleya Center, EpiVacCorona from the Novosibirsk Center “Vector” and “Kovivak” from the Chumakov Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
