The detonation of a World War II shell was officially reported.
On Friday, May 17, on the territory of the Military Academy of Communications named after Budyonny, an explosion was heard in the Russian city of St. Petersburg.
Videos from the scene of the incident are published by Russian Telegram channels.
The published footage shows how the wounded are carried out, and special equipment from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and ambulances arrive at the scene.
According to preliminary information, seven or eight people were injured from the explosion, one of whom is in intensive care.
One version of the incident was a drone attack. Also in Russian public pages they discuss careless handling of ammunition and planted explosives.
Officially, the press service of the Leningrad Military District reported the detonation of a World War II shell. with passengers, when turning onto Potseluev, the bridge lost control and the bus took off into the Moika River.
