On Sunday, On December 17, at least nine workers were killed in an explosion at a drone and explosives factory in the western Indian city of Nagpur, Maharashtra. Three more were seriously injured.

According to the publication, 12 people were at the enterprise at the time of the explosion. Nine of them were killed, three more were seriously injured.
Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, in a post on X, called the incident an accident and expressed condolences for the deaths of nine people.
“It is very unfortunate that nine people, including six women, were killed in the explosion at Solar Industries in Nagpur,” he wrote on social media.
The company produces drones and explosives for the country's defense forces, he added.
The state government will provide compensation equivalent to 6 thousand US dollars to the families of those killed in the accident.
The police have begun an investigation into the incident.
Recall that earlier in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India, a collision occurred between two passenger trains traveling in opposite directions. About 10 people were killed and another 25 were injured.
