US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken reacted evasively to the issue of providing Ukraine with fighter jets.
He stated this at a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Washington.

According to Blinken, the United States “will continue to draw conclusions about what Ukraine needs” and what weapons “may be the most effective to use.”
“It is not just a particular weapon system or Equally important is the ability of Ukrainians to use it effectively, which requires, in some cases, serious training . All this needs to be combined into a single coherent strategy,” Blinken said.
The Secretary of State specified that we are talking about an “evolving process.”
Recall that during a visit to London, President Vladimir Zelensky urged Britain to provide Ukraine with modern fighters and create a “coalition of aircraft.” Zelensky thanked Britain in advance for “powerful aircraft”.
In response, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak promised to strengthen Ukraine's air defense system and said that discussions were ongoing on providing long-range missiles to our state.
Later, a representative of the British Prime Minister said that the government was considering the possibility of supplying combat aircraft to Ukraine, but a decision would not be made in the short term.
