Seismologists have registered an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 near the Kuril Islands. This is reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.
It is noted that the epicenter of the earthquake was located 129 km northeast of the city of Kurilsk.
The outbreak was located at a depth of 144 km.
No tsunami threat was reported.
Earlier, seismologists recorded an earthquake of magnitude 4.8 on the island of Bali.
