Seismologists have registered an earthquake of magnitude 4.5 off the coast of Kamchatka. This is reported by the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
It is noted that the epicenter of the tremors was 177 km from the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
The focus was located at a depth of 18 km.
Earlier, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 was recorded off the coast of Taiwan.
