What is known about the emergency situation

Forest fires are raging in Russia again now, with Transbaikalia suffering the most. According to the authorities, it was the grass fires that caused the ammunition to detonate on the territory of the military unit in Bolshaya Tura.

Local residents complain of explosions and smoke, the warehouse is surrounded by the military. Il-76 and Be-200 aircraft, as well as a fire train, were called in to localize the fire.

It is interesting that the village of Bolshaya Tura is already known for the fire at a nearby military ammunition depot, which occurred on April 29, 2014. Ten people died then, including the warehouse manager and some of the staff.
