The Minister of Defense of Poland noted that the arrival of a US Air Force strategic bomber in the country testifies to close Polish-American cooperation.
On Friday, September 2, an American B-52 bomber capable of carrying nuclear weapons arrived in Poland.
Polish Minister of National Defense Mariusz Blaszczak wrote about this on his Twitter, posting the corresponding photo.
“Polish-American cooperation is getting closer. Today, a B-52 bomber arrived in Poland. Our interoperability and ability to protect NATO's eastern flank is growing,” the head of the Polish defense department said.

Polish Radio noted that the eight-engine Boeing B-52 Stratofortress is a long-range strategic bomber, capable of carrying several tens of tons of various types of conventional cargo, bombs, missiles and nuclear weapons.
Recall that earlier US Air Force strategic bombers capable of carrying nuclear weapons flew over the territory of four NATO countries in the Balkans.
