35-year-old resident of Atlanta (Georgia) Meg Taylor-Morrison, after breaking up with her boyfriend, did not want to change plans and got married on the scheduled day – Halloween 2020.
Since there were no other applicants for the role of husband, the woman decided to marry … herself.
In her opinion, in this way she got the opportunity to show herself a well-deserved love.
The celebration was arranged according to all the rules: to the applause of the guests, Meg put on herself a diamond ring she had bought in advance, made her vows and kissed her reflection in the mirror.
Meg was worried that her friends might perceive such a step as a manifestation of narcissism, but all the invitees reacted to her step with understanding:
– It was the most wonderful experience in my life! One of my best friends, Peter, led me down the path while my guests made bubble fireworks and hummed. My friends were so great! They brought me wedding gifts, treated this day as sacred and special, and spoke wonderful words.
