In the US state of Michigan, a schoolboy brought a homemade bomb to class and accidentally detonated it. This was reported by the local police on their Twitter account.
The incident took place on Monday, March 8, in the village of Neweigo. According to the investigation, a 16-year-old schoolboy accidentally blew up a device brought to an educational institution, as a result of the explosion he received moderate injuries and was hospitalized. At least four more students received minor injuries and went to a medical facility themselves. All people from the school were evacuated.
Now further investigation of the incident is underway, including law enforcement agencies to find out the composition of the exploded substance.
At the end of December last year, it was reported that the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia prevented a terrorist attack in Tambov, which was preparing a 17-year-old teenager. The department said that in the apartment rented by the young man, they found materials for creating a bomb, as well as “communication equipment containing Internet instructions for its assembly and use.”
