In total, 1,700 US military personnel are expected to arrive in the country.
As part of additional US Army troops in Europe, soldiers of the 82nd Airborne Division arrived in Poland.
This was reported on Friday, February 4, in the Polish Ministry of Defense, publishing the corresponding video.
American paratroopers and their equipment arrived with the help of US Air Force transport aircraft and C-17 Globemaster aircraft. Currently, troops are being transferred to temporary deployment points.
“The soldiers of the 82nd Airborne Division will strengthen the American troops that are already stationed in Poland,” the report says.

The Polish Defense Ministry noted that the American paratroopers of this division have already acted together with Polish servicemen during foreign missions and joint exercises.
Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak recalled that in general, 1,700 US military personnel are expected to arrive in the country. This contingent should strengthen the eastern borders of NATO against the threat of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Recall that the President of the United States Joe Biden officially approved the additional deployment of American troops in Eastern Europe.
