The US National Security Agency (NSA) has established surveillance of Fox News TV presenter Tucker Carlson, the journalist said on the air of his program.
“Yesterday we learned that sources in the so-called intelligence community told at least one correspondent what was in these emails, my emails. We are glad to inform you that nothing scandalous was found there, ”said Carlson.
He said that he had planned to interview Putin the day before. According to the TV presenter, he did not tell anyone about his plans, except for the executive producer.
“I was not ashamed of trying to interview Putin, as this is obviously a good news feed. I am an American citizen, and I can interview whoever I want and who I plan to, ”Carlson explained.
According to him, he did not announce his plans to take such an interview, because he was afraid that it “might make the Russians nervous and make it less likely to conduct an interview.”
Carlson believes that the leakage of his letters was organized by the special services on the instructions of the administration of the US President, Democrat Joe Biden, in order to portray the journalist as a “disloyal American”, “an agent of Russian influence” and a traitor.
