American frigate Ingraham destroyed during exercise
The US military, as part of the Sink Exercise exercise, attacked the decommissioned Oliver Hazard Perry-class Ingraham frigate.
The corresponding video was published on the official YouTube channel of the US Navy.
According to The Drive, the decommissioned ship was hit by several rocket attacks and a Mark 48 torpedo was fired. As a result of the attack, the ship split in half and sank.
The Ingraham is known to be the last frigate produced in the Oliver Hazard Perry series. It was withdrawn from the US Navy in 2015.
Currently, ships of this type are still in service with the navies of a number of countries, in particular Turkey, Australia, Egypt and Poland.
Earlier it was reported that the US military during the tests of the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford provoked an earthquake off the coast of Florida.
