American cat ran away from home near Seattle and ended up in Alaska
A cat from the American state of Washington ran away from home and drove more than 4 thousand kilometers, ending up in Alaska, the United Angels organization reports on its Facebook, citing Kenai Public Radio.
A black and white cat named Panda lived with the Clevengers in Thurston County, near Seattle. One day he went out for a walk and never returned. The owners searched for him all week: they combed all the neighborhood and posted dozens of ads on the Web.
Almost desperate, the Clevengers suddenly recognized their pet in a photo in one of the groups on the topic of lost animals. As it turned out, Panda was more than 4 thousand kilometers from home. He was found in a hardware store in Kenai, Alaska.
How the animal got so far remains a mystery. He probably jumped into one of the trucks – they often pass by their house – and hid in a container of goods.
United Angels paid for Panda's flight home. Now the cat is resting after its incredible journey.
In August, it was reported that a cat was found in England 12 years later. The animal disappeared while on a camping trip in 2008, and searches have yielded no results.
