The specialists performed an interesting simulation of the performance of the AMD Radeon RX 6600 non-XT graphics card, which has not yet been released. Nevertheless, it was possible to compare it with the GeForce NVIDIA RTX 3060 model.
It's worth noting that the non-XT variant of the Radeon RX 6600 has been leaked several times. There is information that the model will be released in September. However, we already know some of the characteristics of the video card. It will feature a Navi 23 XL GPU that will offer 1,792 stream processors, the same number as the Radeon Pro W6600. Memory size is unknown, but 8 GB or 4 GB should be expected.
All this allows you to simulate the performance of a video card, using knowledge of other models on Navi 23 XL, for example, about the Radeon Pro W6600. The expert decided to modify and overclock this GPU to mimic the performance of the RX 6600 non-XT.
According to the simulation results, the video card will consume about 123W in games – almost 42W less than the GeForce RTX 3060. In terms of performance, the Radeon RX 6600 will slightly lag behind – 4% at 1080p.
It is assumed that the video card will cost $ 300-330.
