AMD boasts the highest market share in the PC processor market since 2006. It reached 16.9%.
This follows from the analytical report of Mercury Research. The authors took into account only the consumer segment processors, not including models for use in servers and data centers.
According to analysts, the share of AMD increased by 0.8% compared to the previous reporting period. In annual terms, the growth was 7.3%.
If we evaluate the entire x86 processor market, taking into account chips for enterprises, AMD's share is 15.8%. If we talk only about server processors, then the company has a figure of 11.6%.
Recently it became known that Ryzen 7 5700G and Ryzen 5 5600G became the best-selling AMD processors in the German Mindfactory store.
