So, according to the latest insights based on the leak from Gigabyte, the AMD Epyc Genoa processor will receive up to 96 cores. Older models will accommodate 13 crystals, which is 12 CCD chiplets and one I / O chip. In turn, each such chiplet will consist of 8 cores, writes Wccftech.
It is expected that the TDP of the older models will be 320W with a maximum value of 400W. But there will also be a peak threshold of 700 watts. Its processor can only reach 1ms.
Recall that the release of AMD Epyc Genoa is expected in 2022. Fresh solutions will be produced according to the 5nm process technology, while they will also move to the Zen 4 architecture.
