AMD Discontinued Support for Certain Radeon Graphics Cards

by alex

AMD Radeon 200, 300 and Fury series users have found that they cannot download the latest 21.6.1 drivers for them.

In an official statement, AMD has confirmed that it is retiring a large number of its graphics cards. Radeon Fury, Radeon 300 and Radeon 200 will no longer be supported starting with Adrenalin driver 21.6.1. All these video cards were considered obsolete. AMD did not clarify whether it will release security patches for these products in the future.

It's worth noting that the Radeon 200 series graphics cards were released in 2013. The youngest series to stop receiving support was the Radeon Fury, which debuted in 2015.
