AMD and Intel, specializing in the production of computer processors and video cards, have decided to stop cooperation with Russia.

If these major US processor manufacturers stop deliveries to Russia, this could lead to a shortage of servers and an increase in their cost.
According to one of the interlocutors, these companies verbally informed Russian manufacturers that AMD and Intel products are temporarily not supplied to Russia. Chinese partners are already receiving notifications from the local Intel office about the ban on the supply of processors to Russia. The suspension of deliveries of processors from AMD and Intel was also confirmed by a representative of the Association of Russian Developers and Electronics Manufacturers (ARPE).
An Intel representative in Russia did not directly answer the question of whether they stopped the supply of processors, but said that “the company is closely monitoring the situation and enforcing sanctions and export control rules, including new sanctions imposed by OFAC and rules issued by BIS (bureau) Industry and Security under the US Department of Commerce, which is the export control regulator.
