The cost of the contract for notifying airports about the weather in 2022 will amount to 3.9 billion rubles

FSUE State Air Traffic Management Corporation in the Russian Federation will allocate almost 4 billion rubles to notify Russian airports about the weather in 2022. This follows from the data of the public procurement portal, RIA Novosti reports.
The FSBI Main Center for Information Technologies and Meteorological Services for Aviation of the Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring will provide meteorological information to Russian airspace users. The cost of the contract, which has not yet been concluded, is 3.9 billion rubles.
In total, the list of aviation meteorological agencies that collect, process and transmit meteorological information includes 239 organizations throughout Russia.
In January, a public outcry was caused by a government procurement for the maintenance of the VIP-lounge of the Belgorod International Airport. The contract amount was 200 thousand rubles. The list of services included servicing passengers on arrival on domestic and international airlines, as well as renting a meeting room.
