Almost 300 vacancies are currently being advertised in the Austrian tax authorities. This involves 207 permanent positions and 80 training positions for apprentices. The relevant positions have been advertised since January 15th. The new appointments are intended to advance the modernization of the Austrian financial administration.
Finance Minister Gernot Blümel (ÖVP) is convinced: “In order to be able to continue to offer the usual high quality of service as a modern, citizen-friendly financial administration, we need employees with expertise, know-how, commitment and team spirit. With these new appointments we are strengthening our teams, if not to be there for the citizens in the best possible way only in the currently challenging times, but in the long term “. With 207 job advertisements, the financial administration is currently again offering motivated applicants diverse career opportunities in the various areas of Austrian financial administration. The vacancies are published until February 12, 2021 in the job exchange of the republic. In financial administration, we are looking for graduates from universities and technical colleges, general and vocational higher schools and vocational middle schools and people with completed apprenticeships.
Because a total of 80 apprenticeship positions are available throughout Austria, young people can also look forward to the opportunity of an apprenticeship. In some offices of the Austrian Customs Office, apprentices are also wanted for the occupation of administrative assistants.
