A simplified procedure for the passage of humanitarian aid from abroad has begun to operate in Ukraine.

On March 22, Prime Minister Denys Shmihal announced the corresponding decision of the Cabinet of Ministers. He noted that from now on, only one document is needed to import humanitarian aid – a declaration.

– The declaration fills up very quickly. We indicate the sender, recipient, actual place of unloading, type of benefit. This is all. If this is humanitarian aid to the state of Ukraine, then it can be sent to the CAA or to the relevant ministry. If a specific community indicate its recipient and take it to the one to whom this assistance is assigned, — Denis Shmihal explained.

In addition, the government decree abolished the list of goods that are recognized as humanitarian aid. Thus, it will help to save delivery time.

– This means that you can carry all the legal goods that you declare as humanitarian aid. Without any restrictions. Now you do not need to receive any certificates from the CAA or other authorities in order to import humanitarian cargo. This will save even more time on delivery.

Denis Shmihal also noted that 14 European states have already agreed with Ukraine on the release of Ukrainian carriers from a number of additional conditions.

We are talking about obtaining permits for international freight transportation through such countries as Poland, Slovakia, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Slovenia, Moldova, Czech Republic and Turkey.

In addition, a number of countries The EU has already exempted carriers from Ukraine from paying for the use of their roads.
