Prelude to the Bundesliga

The Austrian Bundesliga goes into the 6th round. The highlight is the 333rd Vienna Derby between Austria and Rapid.

– SK Austria Klagenfurt and WSG Tirol dueled twice in the 2nd division in 2018/19, both games ended in a draw. At the end of the season the Tyroleans secured the championship title and were promoted to the ADMIRAL Bundesliga, Klagenfurt finished eighth.

– The CASHPOINT SCR Altach was among the top six after three of the five rounds, and only once in the three previous seasons since the league reform.
