All South Korean citizens will be able to vaccinate against COVID-19 for free
South Korean President Moon Jae-in said that all citizens of the republic would be provided with vaccines against the new coronavirus, Interfax reports.
According to him, vaccination will start in February and will take place in stages.
“The government will make sure that all people are vaccinated for free according to priorities,” he said.
The head of the republic stressed that 2021 will be the year of “recovery” for the country from the coronavirus crisis.
Recall that in December last year, Seoul entered into agreements on the supply of vaccines against coronavirus with Pfizer and Janssen.
Earlier, the representative of the State Committee on Hygiene and Health of the People's Republic of China Zeng Yixin said that more than nine million people were vaccinated against the coronavirus in China.
He specified that since December 15, 7.5 million people have been vaccinated in the country, plus 1.6 million representatives of high-risk groups have been vaccinated.
Yixin stressed that vaccination for the people of China will be free of charge.
