Actor Alain Delon's star will finally appear on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. Its opening ceremony will take place a few days before the annual Oscars.
It is expected that Delon himself, along with his children, will arrive in Los Angeles to participate in this celebration from Switzerland, where he has been living recently, Le Point reports.
For several years Delon has not acted in films and almost does not appear in public. He suffered a stroke, after which his memory began to change. Now the actor, once the favorite of all women in the world, lives alone and often complains about the absence of a life partner. His only official wife, Natalie, passed away last year.
The talented Frenchman has always dreamed of being in Hollywood. At the height of his career in Europe, American producers offered him a long-term contract, and Delon moved to the United States.
There he starred in several films, almost all of which were coolly received by the audience. Frustrated, Delon tore up the treaty and returned to his native France, where he was again helped by a dizzying success.
