David Alaba
David Alaba has apparently survived his corona infection. Born in Vienna, he returned to Real Madrid team training.
The Real newcomer trained again with the “Royal” on Tuesday, as the 29-year-old announced on social networks. The Viennese himself wrote “Back” on Twitter and posted a training picture.
This means that Austria's star kicker could be used in Klagenfurt's last test match against AC Milan on Saturday (6.30pm).
Alaba had tested positive for the corona virus on July 28 before a training session for the Madrilenians. Initially, a test showed an ambiguous result, another PCR test, which the ex-Bayern kicker had carried out in a nearby hospital, finally confirmed the infection. Alaba was in isolation for a week.
Austria's footballer of the year was officially presented as a newcomer to Real in mid-July. The 29-year-old will in future direct the back line of the “Royal” and is planned as the successor to club icon Sergio Ramos.
