Ajax Amsterdam celebrates the 35th league title
Record champion Ajax Amsterdam has won the Dutch football championship for the 35th time. The team of coach Erik ten Hag won against Emmen 4-0 on Sunday and can therefore no longer be overtaken by pursuers Eindhoven with three laps to go. Ajax last won the title in 2019. Last year, the season was not played to the end due to the corona pandemic. At the time of the cancellation, Ajax and Alkmaar were tied for first and second place.
