On the night of August 13, 2024, an air raid alarm was declared in the Kursk region of Russia due to an attack by unknown persons drones.
Local residents reported the sounds of explosions and alleged “air defense work.”
“In the Kursk region, air defense forces are repelling attacks from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, 4 Ukrainian missiles were shot down,” local authorities said.
However, later an air raid alarm was declared in the region again.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry named the target of the operation in the Kursk region.
